Business Intelligence Pipeline | Survey Says, 'Follow The BPM Template'... To A Point

Business Intelligence Pipeline | Survey Says, 'Follow The BPM Template'... To A Point is an interesting little article about the use of BPM templates. One way adding business rules to BPM really helps is in allowing a company to use a standard process - a template if you will - while still ensuring that they give a unique impression to a customer. If you use business rules to control each of the key decision points in a process, and customize those to make sure that deciding when to approve and when to refer etc etc is done your way, then you can run a pretty vanilla process while still keeping your "secret source"

Business rules + BPM Templates = customized yet standard processes.
