Robots, AI and decisioning

A colleague sent me a link to this article in the NY Times - Brainy Robots Start Stepping Into Daily Life - which talks both about the robot cars of the DARPA grand challenge and other AI like projects. For those interested, check out previous posts by me on the topic of robots and decisioning - Congratulations Tommy! and Robotics - the next frontier for decisioning? - or Robert Hecht-Nielsen's page (the reprints page includes details on the session mentioned in the NY Times article).
