Enterprise Data Warehouses and decision management

Nice article by some folks from Teradata on DM Review today - The New Core Competency of Every Business: Exploiting the Power of Enterprise Intelligence. Judy and Duncan summarize the key value proposition of enterprise intelligence. I particularly liked the fact that they emphasize deployment. If your models are not in production, what good are they? That's the core philosophy behind enterprise decision management and why an enterprise data warehouse is so valuable when doing EDM.

This match between EDM and EDW has come up before as has the issue of decision latency, something really improved by the combination of EDM and EDW.
