So let's review the EDM Blog in 2006
- According to Technorati we ended with a rank of 73,372 with 500 links from 46 blogs
- 383 Posts or more than one a day!
26 of these were by Ian Turvill, 5 by Barbara von Halle and 2 by Rahul Asthana (meaning I wrote 350) - There were 140 comments
- The feed averaged 150 subscribers over the year, with a (recent) maximum of 367
- The feed also averaged 1253 hits a day with a maximum of 2530 in a day and 457,387 total
- There were 50 clickthroughs from the feed on average per day with a maximum daily score of 162 and 18,351 total
- Bloglines and FeedBlitz (email) were the two major readers for the feed (details below)
- There were about 70,000 page views for the year with well over half coming in the second half of the year
We average just over 1.8 pages per visit and while North America dominated, Europe and India put in good performances too (details below) - Top sections were Business Rules, Business Rules FAQ, Case Study, Business Process Management, Predictive Analytics - no particular surprises for me at least (details below)
- Top pages were Are BPMS and BRMS complementary or not?, Agile Rules? A "conversation" with Scott Ambler, Windows Workflow Foundation - rule engines and rule management, Why are business rules better than traditional code?, The secret of business user rule maintenance
Most of these were linked to from high traffic blogs but they are also quite good posts (I think)
Hope you enjoyed the blog. See you all this year.
