Please ignore the typo - EDM is an approach

Nice article on EDM in SDA India based on an interview with a colleague (hi Bill). They messed up the title - it should say that EDM is an APPROACH and not a platform -  but the interview makes some key points:

• The 5 dimensions on which you can and should measure decisions (precision, consistency, agility, speed and cost) - the so-called decision yield
• The importance of change management and therefore of readiness, These five posts on my other blog around aspects of readiness might be helpful
• Business and IT collaboration
• Data
• Analytic understanding
• Organizational change
• Operational focus
• The kind of decisions to which EDM applies - micro or operational decisions
• The combination of business rules (FAQ) and predictive analytics (FAQ) that is core to the approach.
